Festivals are usually during the first (3) weeks in December, but the Christmas lights (over a million lights) go up the end of November, particularly the weekend after Thanksgiving and will stay on until Valentine’s Day of the following year. A must-see!!
Every year on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, Bavarian Icefest comes to town! Stop by for ice sculptures, snow sculpture contests, and tons of family-friendly activities.
Enjoy authentic German beer, food, and music at Oktoberfest of Leavenworth! Oktoberfest is held on the first 3 Fridays and Saturdays of October.
On the 2nd weekend of May each year, usually on Mother’s Day, Maifest is a traditional Bavarian Festival featuring dances, parades, music, and more.
The Enchantments are a very popular hiking area near our shop! Here you’ll see pristine alpine lakes and beautiful granite mountains, carved from glaciers. Learn more.

Located a few minutes from Leavenworth, Little Red’s is a must-visit! Influenced by the 1940s, Little Red’s features a full espresso bar and delicious food, including ‘grandma-style’ home-baked goods. They also use organic and local products whenever possible.
